Aesthetic treatments in Munich-Bogenhausen
Different methods serve different purposes. At Aesthetic Munich, the first step is therefore to establish whether the focus is on volume, contour, skin quality, tissue or another structure.

The visible change is not always the underlying cause
A wrinkle may result from facial movement, volume loss, skin quality or sagging tissue. A tired-looking eye area may be related to shadows, pigmentation, swelling or anatomical depth. Adding volume does not automatically improve a less defined contour either.
Treatment therefore does not begin with a standard recommendation. During the consultation and facial assessment, the skin surface, volume distribution and tissue are considered separately. This helps establish whether a method may help, whether several steps make sense or whether a treatment offers too little potential benefit.
Treatments for volume, skin quality, texture and selected contours
Fillers
Hyaluronic acid fillers can replace volume, define contours and change proportions. The product, amount and placement depend on the area and the goal.
Skin boosters
Skin boosters focus on hydrating the skin. They are not intended to shape the lips or facial contours.
Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides are discussed in relation to fine lines and skin condition. Claims about their effects depend on the specific product; they are not a substitute for volume correction.
Mesotherapy
Small amounts of selected active ingredients are introduced into the superficial layers of the skin. Meso Face, Meso Eye and Meso Cellulite address different goals.
Meso Hair
Scalp mesotherapy may form part of an individual hair treatment plan. It must not replace any necessary investigation of the underlying cause.
Medical Microneedling
Controlled micro-injuries stimulate the skin's repair and remodelling processes. Depth and intensity are adjusted to the skin condition and the goal.

Exosomes
The term exosomes does not describe a single, standardised product. The treatment page explains what it means and why no general treatment recommendation can be made on that basis alone.
Hylase
Hyaluronidase can reduce or dissolve suitable hyaluronic acid fillers. Its use requires a carefully assessed indication and a thorough discussion of the procedure and its risks.
Fat-dissolving injections
Injection lipolysis is only considered for selected small fat deposits. It is not a method of weight loss.

Carboxytherapy
Medical carbon dioxide is introduced into selected tissue areas in a controlled manner. The application and goal depend on the findings and indication.
Toskani Myotec
Myotec is a product name used in professional cosmetics. The overview distinguishes cosmetic skincare from injectable treatments; equating it with botulinum toxin is not appropriate.
Which method addresses which goal?
| Starting point | Possible method | Key distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Volume loss or contour | Fillers | not suitable for every wrinkle or every case of tissue laxity |
| Dehydrated, crepey skin | Skin boosters | not a conventional shaping or volumising treatment |
| Fine lines and changes in skin condition | Polynucleotides | neither a filler nor a surgical tightening procedure |
| Superficial treatment with active ingredients | Mesotherapy | the product and area determine the approach |
| Scalp and the area around the hair follicles | Meso Hair | investigation of the cause of unusual hair loss |
| Skin texture and selected scars | Medical Microneedling | not suitable for active inflammation or unsuitable skin conditions |
| Correction of hyaluronic acid filler | Hylase | only after careful assessment |
| small local fat deposit | Injection lipolysis | not for weight loss |
| Skincare for fine lines | Toskani Myotec | cosmetic product; not an injection method |
Using less material may be the better decision
The amount of a product says little about the quality of a result. A small volume in the anatomically appropriate place may make more sense than treating a large area without a clear plan.
It is equally important to consider whether an injectable product is the right solution at all. Where skin firmness is declining, tissue structure is unfavourable or skin quality is poor, Skin Health, microneedling or energy-based procedures may be more suitable.
Consultation, informed consent and treatment planning
Before treatment, your concerns, previous procedures, relevant medical conditions, medication, allergies and possible contraindications are discussed. Your anatomy, skin, tissue and a realistic goal are then assessed.
A treatment plan is only drawn up once the benefits, method and risks are clearly aligned. You can request a consultation even if you have not yet chosen a method.
Limitations are part of an aesthetic consultation
Not every change can reasonably be corrected with a non-surgical method. With significant excess skin, unexplained findings, unrealistic expectations or an unfavourable balance of risks and benefits, referral to another specialty or no treatment may be the better recommendation.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. When you get in touch, describe what you would like to change. The available options are discussed during your consultation and after an assessment of your skin and tissue.
A combination may be considered if the treatments address different goals. The benefits, additional risks, sequence and intervals between individual steps are discussed beforehand.
Even minimally invasive procedures can cause redness, swelling or bruising. The possible reaction depends on the method, the area and your individual circumstances.
This depends on the method, the information that needs to be discussed, your circumstances and appointment scheduling. Treatment on the same day cannot be guaranteed in every case.
