What would you like to preserve, and what would you like to change?

Here, healthy ageing means thoughtful planning of skincare and possible aesthetic treatments. Reaching a certain age does not mean you need treatment. Your own wishes are the starting point, rather than a fixed ideal of beauty.

You may want to simplify your skincare routine, discuss one particular change or understand which options could sensibly be considered in sequence. These goals do not all have to be pursued at the same time.

A clear foundation for skincare

Bring your current skincare routine and your experiences with individual products to the consultation. Which products do you use regularly, which do you tolerate poorly and what can you maintain in everyday life?

The page on caring for and protecting the skin barrier explains the skin's protective surface. Professional facial treatments are a separate area of care and are not a reason to automatically add further procedures.

Set priorities and decide on a sequence

Start by identifying the change that matters most to you. Specific questions about lines are covered on the page about wrinkle treatment; wishes relating to fullness and profile are explained in Face and contours.

Before several procedures are planned, their sequence, the necessary intervals and previous treatments must be considered. The term healthy ageing does not imply a package or a fixed number of sessions.

Reconsider after each step

A treatment plan should leave room for new decisions: does the change meet your expectations? Do you still want another step? Have your skin condition or personal priorities changed?

More material, greater intensity or additional appointments are not measures of quality. Postponing, ending or choosing not to have treatment are all possible decisions.

Frequently asked questions

There is no universally right time. Your wishes, the condition of your skin and a clear potential benefit are what matter.

No. Planning may be limited to skincare and advice.

Regular appointments are not a requirement. Whether further steps make sense depends on your progress so far and your goals.
